THE GATS BASED VAR AND VOLTAGE INTEGRATED CONTROL

ABSTRACT: In this paper the necessity of reactive power and voltage integrated control is briefly formulated. and the design principles as well as the main function of it are presented too. Based on operational practice in power network and the characteristic of this system, the particular realization of a hybrid GATS optimization strategy is proposed in the selection of PV node voltage, the construction of fitness function, the confirmation of crossover rate and mutation rate and the combination of GA and TS, so as to actualize the counter-regulation of voltage, optimize the node voltage profile, avoid premature convergence and shorten the search time. The improved algorithm achieved satisfactory result in IEEE 118 node power system compared with SGA, the search time is shortened and optimization effect is better, thus indicates the practicability of the hybrid GATS optimization strategy.
