Research on Protection Method of Feeder Line in Subway DC Traction Supply System

Abstract:At present, the protection methods for direct current feeder in subway are not v ery well. The paper introduces several protection methods of direct current feeder protection adopted in traction power supply system, analyses the principle of hig h current tripping protection in detail, changing rate of current di/dt and current increm ent protection, overcurrent protection,doubleend intert ripping protection, OCS thermal overload protection and automatic reclos ure. It describes how to distinguish the abnormal and normal conditions by changing rate of current di/dt with example, current increment and duration time of current increment.It provides theory basis for the configuration of feeder protection in subway
