Design of General Microprocessor based Experiment Apparatus for Relay Protection

Abstract:Aiming at present condition of microprocessorbased relay protection experiment in domestic universities and the quick developments of microprocessorbased re lay protection, this paper analyzes the analog items required by most microproce ssor relay protection equipments. A new general design method as well as the sof tware and hardware scheme based on DSP and PC104 have been put forward. This pap er also makes research on its implement methods and other key techniques. The pr oposed system is able to take on the teaching experiments of Power System Relay Protection and Power System Microcomputer Protection.
